These terms explain the rules for using www.taspo.org and how donations made through this website work. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
1. About us
This website is run by TASPO – Tanzania Student Plan Organisation, a registered non-governmental organisation in Tanzania (registration no. OONGO/R/1910), P.O. Box 236, Singida, Tanzania. In these terms, "TASPO", "we", "us" and "our" mean TASPO, and "you" means anyone who visits or uses this website.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website. We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
3. Using this website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes, for example to learn about our work, read our blog, share our articles or support us. You agree not to:
- use the website in any way that breaks the law or harms others
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected systems
- copy, change or republish our content for commercial purposes without our written permission
- use our name or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you, your organisation or your products
4. Our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, photos, logos and other material on this website belong to TASPO or are used with permission. You're welcome to share links to our pages and to quote short passages with a clear credit to TASPO. Please contact us before using our photos, logos or longer extracts. Our registration documents on the Licences page are shown for verification only and may not be copied or reused.
5. Donations
Donations to TASPO are voluntary gifts to support our work with students and schools in Tanzania.
- How payments work. Online donations are processed by a secure third-party payment provider on its own checkout page. TASPO does not receive or store your card or payment details. The payment provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
- How we use donations. Donations go to our programmes, such as Whiteboards for All, our student planning tools and after-school clubs, including the costs of getting equipment to schools. If you ask for your gift to support a particular programme, we'll do our best to honour that. If that isn't possible, we'll use it where it's most needed and let you know.
- Mistakes and refunds. Donations are not normally refundable. If you made a mistake, for example donating the wrong amount or twice, please email support@taspo.org as soon as possible and we'll look into it.
- Confirmation. You'll receive a confirmation by email when your online donation is complete.

6. Links to other websites
This website links to other websites and services, including the TASPO Taskbook app (app.taspo.org), our payment provider, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and sources quoted in our articles. Websites run by others have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn't set YouTube cookies until you play the video.
7. Accuracy of information
We work hard to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that everything is complete or current. Health information in our articles is general information only and isn't medical advice; please speak to a qualified health professional about any health concern.
8. Our responsibility
We provide this website free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, TASPO isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, from the website being unavailable, or from your use of websites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
9. Your information
If you email us, donate or otherwise contact us, we use the details you give us only to respond to you, to confirm and record donations and, if you agree, to send you updates about our work. We don't sell your information. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email support@taspo.org. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of Tanzania.
